The whole story of Princess Watson starts on 13th of September 2005. That is when Nela opened up site called Princess Emma Watson. The beginnings have been hard for Nela and for the whole site. The site was slowly getting better along with Nela's graphics and webmaster skills. More and more visitors kept getting in... The real break-through was moving from crappy freewebs to a fansite hosting site. Finally site got huge amount of space, huge gallery and other stuff was created. That was at beginning of 2006. From then on, the site grew and grew into its greatness and around the summer four friends Nela, Adam, Natalie and Hillary met one by one...
So it was on August 16th, 2006 when Shimmering Emma opened. And here comes in Hillary! Great and dedicated webmistress!
I have always admired Emma and her talent and have made several fansites about her before. But this time i decided that i would stick with the idea...so Shimmering Emma came to be.
Emma always seems to be glowing...not literally, but shimmering, in my opinion describes her talent and her personality...so that's how the name got chosen.
I also decided to host it off of my own site Emma Roberts.co.uk
Then because I was running out of space on my ER.co.uk server, I moved the site to where Sweet Innocence used to be. It was there for a about a week.
Then Adam bought a domain for the site! and I began to look for a new host!
Then the amazing Banshee, decided to host us! Love him!
Most unfortunately. we started using tons of space...so that's when Adam and I started looking for a new host. After about a week...we found one! We got accepted by Gertie at fan-sites.org! She is an amazing and wonderful host! Love her too! (Hillary)
Well, one day I was looking at Harry Potter search on google and I came across Emma-Watson.net . I thought it was one of the best sites ever. I visited it everyday and I really loved their layouts. About a year later I came across a website called Shimmering-Emma and my friend Hillary ran it. I decided to buy them a domain but under one condition, If I can be webmaster too. So I finally bought them a domain and we are currently hosted by Gertie and our url is www.shimmering-emma.org (Adam)
Nela knew Adam even before he started working on Shimmering Emma and being such a good friends Adam turned to Nela form a tiny help with his upcoming site Miss Watson.
Well when In 2005 I first opened a website called
Emma Watson's World. I was only 11 so I totally did not know
anything about websites I had no clue what a domain was or html
I was really bad. I soon learned and I used I program called
Microsoft Publisher (boring) I hated it. So I moved to Front
Page and my site got a lot better.By now I knew lots of stuff so I helped out on
a site Called The Closed Ward. But when they moved to a new URL
I used there old URL for my site. Soon after I changed the name
to Miss Watson. But in the middle of March My host got hacked so
I was left site less.In August I found I site named Shimmering-Emma
a small cute site and I decided to buy a domain for them if I
could be webmaster. So I did and I still work there now but
shortly after that I wanted a site of my own just for me to make
and no helpers.
And by this time we have already known Natalie. Yup yup. I was one cool beans webmistress, right? *crickets* What? I was so hip and funky fresh. *crickets die* Well screw the crickets, I though I did a pretty good job. :PThe first site I had ever worked at was A Bit Closer (now formally known as Good Ship) I didn't know what the crapitydooda I was doing. I did some weak updates, but it did help me understand html and all that. Now the REAL business started when I started working at Dazzling Emma more than a year ago. Kristin taught me how to code! Well, she didn't teach me, I sort of took her codes and messed with them to see what I could do. :D Now I can code anything! (Woot, please?) I opened Emma Chic (Now Electric Watson) on July 30th. I didn't really open it..it just sort of sat there. Haha. :) Then I moved to Electric Watson because I hated what I had named my site. Soooo... I went to freewebs, made a layout and BAM it was born. (though not completely) The real action happened when I got hosted by Fan-Sites.Org! I was like "Heck yes!" Tiffany and Juliet had changed their site name and moved somewhere else and I took over their site. That caused trouble. Everyone was all "Where are they? Who's this slut?" and all that stuff. :P It was stupid. Some people didn't like me because I went by Nizzaz? Haha. Come on, it's my nickname. :) It's like my version of Tiffy. People started to like my site and I started to have about the same success aw Princess Emma Watson. Me and Nela shared a forum (which was the beginning of our grand merge) and talked some. I started commenting on Shimmering Emma's site and getting to know them a little better. I had gone to SE since they opened and PEW since they were on.. Version 10 or something? Haha. Great, Grand, Swell. :) I'm glad we decided to merge. My site never had its content before we got together! HAHA! Yay me? :D
Well and around Christmas first server problems came upon Princess EW. The site was always down and then came the funnies idea! Hillary contacted Nela about merging the sites together. And so did Adam and Natalie all at the same time. What a great coincidence! So the solution was we all merging together. Being good friends and top affiliates we all enjoyed the idea. And that is how Princess Watson was born. It took us a lot of emails and chatting in our super-duper special chat room just for staff, merging the contents of all sites... And the result of the site how you see it now!
Well...not completely....after being hosted by Fan-Fusion for over a year, their domain and our domain expired. Since I did not have the money, and neither did my host, to renew it, I began the search for a new host, with only a back-up of my site to go off of. After two weeks of waiting and no replies, I found a great host, orangesarecool.com. They accepted!!! Too good to be true right? After a little more than a week there, my host emailed me saying that she was not going to renew her servers, so I had to find a new host fast. That same day, I applied for fan-sites.org hosting and magic! Princess Watson got hosted!
